Randy 14th after Finals
Randy had an off meet last night during the second day of VISA Championships in San Jose, California. She started off on her best event, floor exercise, where she did the usual routine with a double layout, Arabian double front, double twist as a side pass, 5/2 twist + front layout, and ended with a double pike. She placed 8th on that event scoring 14.500. The next event was vault where she did a double twisting Yurchenko with a step scoring 14.850. Randy was struggling on uneven bars and fell on her Geinger. On the last event, balance beam, she had a solid routine. She, however, fell by under-rotated on her double tuck dismount. She scored 14.000 on that event. She finished 14th in the all-around. Unfortunately she did not make the US National Team this year. Two videos and ten pictures have been added from 2007 US Nationals Prelims.

Randy 14th after Prelims

Today Randy, along with her gym teammate Sherise Clark, are in San Jose, California for the VISA Championships. Randy started off on balance beam with a fall on her switch leap + switch side combo scoring a 13.850. Her next event was floor exercise where she did a double layout, arabian double front, double full as a side pass, 2.5 twist + front layout, and ended with a double pike. She placed 10th place with a score of 14.300 on that event. Randy fell on her double twisting Yurchenko with a score of 13.750. On Randy's last event, uneven bars, she nailed all of her routine and placed 13th scoring 13.250. After the first day of the VISA Championships, Randy is 14th in the all-around. Full results have been posted. The second day of VISA Championships will be on Saturday, at 6:00 PM PST. The VISA Championships will be aired on NBC on August 18th (8:00 EST) and 19th (7:00 EST).

Randy will be competing next weekend at the Visa Championships in San Jose, California. Senior women compete on Thursday at 7:00 PM and Saturday at 6:00 PM. Randy will try to retain her spot on the US National Team.

6th on BB & FX at US Classic
Randy just finished competing at US Classic in Battle Creek, Michigan today. Randy started off on balance beam and did an outstanding job and placed fifth place with the score of 14.600. On the next event, floor exercise, Randy performed a double layout, double arabian, double pike as a side pass, 5/2 twist to front layout, and full-in! She, however, had a scary fall on her last pass and decided to scratched vault and uneven bars. Randy has already qualified to the US National Championships later this month in San Jose, California. Full results and pictures from the meet have been posted as well as one video on balance beam.

Randy competed at the American Classic at the National Training Center. She placed 11th in the all-around and third on floor exercise. Full results have been posted from the meet. Congratulations to Randy's teammate, Sherise Clark for qualifying to her first VISA Championships!

Many new photos have been added to 2007 Gymnix International, 2006 US Nationals D2, and 2006 US Nationals D1. Three new avatars have been added as well. Four Medals from Gymnix International

Randy originally was going to the Gymnix International in Montreal, Quebec with her Excalibur teammates. A day before the competition begins at the Gymnix International; Randy had been added to the U.S. Team to compete with three other U.S. National Members, Sarah DeMeo, Corrie Lothrop, and Amber Trani.

The first day of the competition was last Saturday. Randy placed third all-around behind Kristina Vaculik of Canada and Ksenija Semenova of Russia. She and Amber Trani tallied their scores and placed second as a team behind Russia. Randy qualified to three event finals on uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. Randy placed first on vault and floor during the all-around competition. She, however, only has one vault and was not be able to compete in the vault finals. Randy won three more medals during the second of the competition. She placed third on uneven bars and balance beam. Randy won the floor exercise title!

Two new videos on vault and floor exercise have been added from the Gymnix International during the all-around final.

Randy competed last weekend at the Excalibur Cup. She placed second all-around behind teammate Morgan Evans. Randy won floor exercise and placed second on vault. You can view the full results on the Excalibur Gymnastics website. There are few new pictures added from 2006 US Nationals Day 2.

Randy competed last night at Parkette's Invitational in Allentown, PA. She won the all-around in the open session (15-16). She placed third on vault with a double twisting Yurchenko. She won the balance beam and placed second on floor exercise. Two new videos have been added from the meet. Two new magazine clips from Inside Gymnastics have been added as well.

Randy competed this past weekend at the Brestyan's Invitational in Weston, MA. She won the all-around title in her division, Senior A. She also placed first on uneven bars and floor exercise. One or two new videos and pictures from the meet will be coming soon.

Randy Made the Senior National Team
Randy finished the second day of competition at the VISA Championships last night in St. Paul, Minnetosa. She started off on vault with a strong double twisting Yurchenko. Randy had some trouble on her next event, uneven bars. She hit her feet on the bar twice and scored 11.9. The next event was balance beam where she did a nice routine for 14.4 and placed 11th. On Randy's last event, floor exercise, she impressed the audience with her awesome routine! She did a double layout, arabian double front, double twist, 2.5 twist + front layout, and ended with a double pike. Randy surprised everyone and scored a huge 15.5 and tied for 1st place with the World Champion on floor exercise, Alicia Sacramone! Randy placed 10th all-around at the end of VISA Championships and made the US National Team for the second time in row! CONGRATULATIONS RANDY!

8th after first day of Nationals
Randy finished the first day of competition at the VISA Championships just a few minutes ago in St. Paul, Minnetosa. She started off on floor exercise and did a very nice routine with a double layout, arabian double front, 2/1 twist as her side pass, 2 1/2 twist + front layout, and double pike. She scored 15.150 and is currently in 3rd place. Next event was vault where she did very nice double twisting Yurchenko and scored 15.100 and is currently tied for 3rd place. Randy hit her uneven bars scoring 13.200. On her last event, balance beam, did a good rountine but had a fall on her full twist and scored 13.900. It puts Randy 8th place in all-around. GOOD JOB RANDY! Randy will compete in the finals on Saturday at 7PM. Check back here soon for more news from the final day of competition.

GOOD LUCK at the Nationals!
Randy will be competing at her second National Championships later this week in St. Paul, Minnestoa. On Thursday's preliminary competition, she will be third up on floor exercise. The preliminary competition will begin at 7:00 PM. Randy will be fifth up on uneven bars on Saturday's finals which will start at 6:00 PM. Good Luck Randy!

Randy competed at an invitational two weeks ago at her hosted gym, Excalibur Cup. She did awesome, placing 2nd all-around after suffered a fall on balance beam. She also earned gold medals on vault and floor exercise. Good job Randy! New results and photos have been added from the meet as well as new photos from 2006 Parkette Invitational. There's four new avatars added as well.

Randy competed last Saturday night at Parkette Invitational. She was in 14 to 15 age group in Open Level session. She had a fall on balance beam but she did really well overall. Randy placed 3rd all-around out of 18 gymnasts. She also placed 4th on vault, 5th on uneven bars, and 2nd on floor exercise. The results have been added from the meet. Hopefully new pictures and videos will be coming soon. Good job Randy!

Two Medals from US vs Japan & New Zealand
Randy competed in Huntsville, Texas on Tuesday in the US vs Japan and New Zealand Meet. She did really great under the code of points! Randy only competed three events; vault, balance beam, and floor exercise. She earned a silver medal on vault with a score of 14.80. She also placed 4th on floor exercise and 7th on balance beam. Team USA also took the team title over Japan and New Zealand. Three new photos and results have been added from the meet.

Congrulations Randy for being selected for USA vs Japan and New Zealand dual in January! The USA team will be Shawn Johnson, Ivana Hong, Sarah Demeo, Hilary Mauro, Amber Trani, Jacquelyn Johnson, Natasha Kelley, and Randy. The meet will be held at Karolyi's Ranch.
