Jennifer Lauren Taylor was born on October 7th, 1989 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She began gymnastics at 4 1/2 years old after her mother put her into gymnastics at Dynamo Gymnastics after she climbing in cabnets. She continued gymnastics at Dynamo until level 4. Her father got another job in Texas, so Jennifer went to Arlington Gymnastics Academy which then changed its name to Arlington Gymnastics Center, but it is now closed down, and then she went to Dallas Gymnastics Center for a little bit. She went back to Dynamo as a Level 9 and first year Level 10. Finally, she moved to Kraftt Academy in Tulsa which she is at now. Jennifer's coaches are Kristi Krafft and Jean-Luc Carrion.

While Jennifer was a Level 9 in 2000, she won uneven bars and balance beam at Level 9 Westerns. In 2001, she moved up to Level 10, qualified to 2001 Junior Olympic Nationals annd placed 3rd on vault, 2nd on balance beam, and 1st on floor exercise. Jennifer missed qualifying to Junior Olympic Nationals in 2002.

2003 was a successful year for Jennifer. She won the Level 10 Regionals and placed 1st on uneven bars and 3rd on balance beam. At Junior Olympic Nationals, she placed 2nd all-around and 1st on uneven bars! Jennifer continued her streak in 2004. At Kurt Thomas Gymnastics Invitational, she got a perfect ten on her strong event, uneven bars! She also placed 1st all-around, 1st on vault, and 2nd on balance beam. Jennifer won Level 10 Regionals again and placed 1st on all events, but balance beam. At Junior Olympic Nationals, she is uneven bars champion for the second year in row. She also placed 6th all-around after problems on balance beam.

Jennifer injuried her back beginning of the year of 2005. She is coming back really quick and will be competing fully in May. Her gymnastic goals are to become International Elite and make on the National Team at least twice, become a world champion, and earn a college scholarship. At Jennifer's free time, she likes to chat online, playing with her dog, shopping, watching movies and tv, and spending with her family.
